Zellers Starts Treating its Customers Like Sweat Shop Workers

Like many things in life it started out as something simple a trip to the mall to buy summer shorts. What the trip reveled about global markets and low prices was what was enlightening.

First it was the clothes themselves over produced with features that on one really wanted or need. Give me break men are not looking for shorts with internal waist bands. Then when I asked for for a fitting room I was walk to other side fo the store right in the middle of woman's lingerie dept. When I went to changing are no staff member was there and I walked in on elderly asian women who trying on top. I left the store upset. Today I thought I give another try and it was better and worse. There was clerk at the front the fitting room telling you were to go but their A/C working on the hottest day of year the and the checker looked like she was working in a sweat shop oh sorry she was working in a sweat shop and i was shopping in sweat shop and buying something made in sweat shop it just did not feel right. Zeller's you can do a better job.

Obama Supporters Lets Stay The Course

Obama Supporters now it time for up to talk up our President. The first 100 days have passed the New President has had some successes. The Hostage was Rescued the Budget was passed and the bail-out programs have been implemented.

Now it time for President Obama to well a President Obama. 

The President will not be releasing more embarrassing photos of US Defense Personal potentially abusing Arab poisoners.

Since then Civil Liberty Supports have been crying foul.

This weekend Obama' at the Notre Dam graduation speech told the crowd assembled that Pro Life supports should be respected in the right to chose debate and unwanted pregnancies should be avoided.

I have been wondering what pro choice voters have been thinking about that speech.  

Now its Tuesday night and today Obama has told the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, that there will be a two state solution in the middle east and that settlements will have to cut back.

I know this is likely going to upset many Jewish American Votes.

I say to all of the above not its time to support our president Barack Obama just like the Republican's would have supported their president if he has won the election last November .

I confident that Barack Obama will come out on the right side the issues and lead America in the Democratic traditions of Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and  Lyndon B Johnson. I going to sleep tonight proud that we have a Democratic named Barack Obama in the White-house.  

Star Trek Now That's a Hollywood Move

Each Year it seems to me that hard hard to go see move that hit all the high notes that mark it worth getting in the car finding a parking spot and finding a seat in the theater listing to other folks cell phone ring and watch five minutes of previews for movie you will never see.

Star Trek defies that odds and it was great ride from the open seen to the closing credits. The Move has it all Live Action, Computer Generated Graphics, Laughs, Fresh Faces (The New Scotty was a blast) Spock Show a Whole New Side of himself to the world and of course there enough dramatic tension keep pasted to the seat for the movies two hour running time and when it over your left waiting for more and I say bring on the sequel.

That really is the big. they want people to use the bus but they make hard to use it. There almost no bike around bus stops in local communities. Maybe we should change the name for translink to social control link.

Spring Cycling Season Starts with a Roll

I and 25 others took a fun spring bike ride from Vancouver to Richmond New Speed Staking Oval. Good Weather and hey I riding a lighter bike which make the pedaling up hills a little easier even with new road bike gearing. Richmond Speed Staking Oval came out pretty well and it is a multi-use building I watched fencing match there today.
